Kottakuzhiyil was incorporated in 2002 as a
Super Market. The venture was an initiative of three Brothers, Abdul Salim , Ali kabeer and Abdul Latheef. Starting it of as just a retail venture, it evolved to an in-house production brand named KTS by 2019. In a very short span of time more than that of the evolution as a brand , the amount of trust our customers shower upon us is immense .

From then to now the main vision of ours was to give our customers top notch products in affordable and sustainable prices. Today we have over seven outlets to serve its purpose with 300 + employees .

Everything is hard before it is easy. As like of that the initial stages were tough . But the thought that Risking is better than regretting
Kept me going by facing the challenges.The journey from Starting it off just as a supermarket to creating an own brand with a label was indeed a strenuous and demanding one . More than that of the Hard-work and commitment of we three brothers , it ensued with the perseverance and commitment of our employees and the immense amount of love and trust of our valuable customers . The main vision of us was then symbolised by ☑️ ?! Which indicated our vision : Accurate Quantity with unquestionable Quality at a surprising price which continues to be the same till date .
Obviously growth is a proces, and it took time.
For me, the best business Strategy is a satisfied customer.

From where it all started…

Being an NRI from an early age , the plan of starting a venture in my homeland was always a dream . I was planning to start a Jewellery or textile shop as that was the most sustaining businesses sectors of that period .
Establishing in a sector that of this was not even a plan then. I firmly believe whatever is meant to be in your life will always
gravitate back to you, no matter
how far it wanders. The Entire idea started from a daylight robbery i had experienced once in my own hometown which may sounds silly for many now . I was charged two rupees extra than the MRP of the actual product I had purchased,when enquired turned out to be the regular term ‘Profit’ from the vendor which ensued in a curiosity to study how actually the market works,which eventually made me perceive it was a thievery. By scrutinising more about it left me in a notion,”why not this ?”.
The whole idea initially was to serve our customers a happy shopping experience in the most affordable prices with no betrayal and we named it as ‘Marginfree Super Market’ just as the name suggested its purpose. I was certain from then that besides it being a business,it should have to be a service with Morals and Ethics.
Inspite of all that hurdles I had, I believe it is the truthfulness of mine which gave me the strength to face and succeed in it .Nevertheless of saying the major backlash was the fire Disaster of our main outlet in 2019 which was the first outlet of ours .I always considered It as a sign of my first success. Honestly it Created a void in my mind .
No matter what I consider every downfall of mine as an opportunity to build a much more stronger empire of my own. Like so it paved a path to create an in-house production brand of our own with a label . I believes as far as I posses commitment,truthfulness and ethics towards what I am doing I will always challenge the challenges .
